Let me introduce myself. I was born at age 34, under the writing pen of Georges Ugeux. Georges saw me as an assertive, beautiful and sensitive Chinese woman. I believe that Georges has truly captured some of the complexities of my personality – qualities of which I am very proud. I often feel that he is so perceptive, he even uncovers some of my vulnerabilities in a way that I am not always aware of in the moment. It isn’t often one meets a man that understands such a complicated woman. I very much like what he has written about me – he has even given me great companions in the story.
Readers probably notice how I react under duress and stress, especially when I am pushed. I fight and immediately return to the inquiry. I don’t like being pushed, and despise violence. This, of course, does not mean I cannot be shocked or upset. Georges understands this about me and captured it in the novel. I was going through a difficult time and he knew to be discreet. I thank him for that. I would not have liked to see, on paper, what I went through in excruciating detail. He respected me.
Let’s face it – I believe that he loves me even if he will not admit it. The color he gave to my character was truthful, but he also painted me as a friend would do. This is how we built a relationship. My personality is a very appealing one. In fact, Georges was probably a little too nice – he is obviously a romantic guy! He told me he would bring me to London next year in the next book. I cannot wait to get lost in the turpitudes of the city.
